Here I am on a trip with a family that fled the genocide of the 1970s - some serious life-altering stuff - and this morning I was so trapped in my ever-active brain thinking about my past and future and the ever-present question - what am I doing with my life?!?! Thanks for reminding me to be present in this moment and to enjoy the simple things in life. Seeing that picture of Claire just made my heart melt. I think the hardest thing about this journey is not being around your three darling beams of light who always give me perspective and wisdom about the ease in which one can live in the present moment! So thanks for sharing. Love you all SO MUCH! xoxoxo, JulesJuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08451726497799702095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8955155520122173178.post-4556479645423605552008-11-11T10:18:00.000-08:002008-11-11T10:18:00.000-08:00I would be so honored if my mom had written someth...I would be so honored if my mom had written something like this about me when I was little. :)pearattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17611091556221080291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8955155520122173178.post-69705829390540493212008-11-10T21:07:00.000-08:002008-11-10T21:07:00.000-08:00Leane I love the blog's new look! You are spot on when you talk about the lack of self-conciousness in our children that we somehow acquire as we grow older. I remember when my daughter got her top, front tooth knocked out at 3 years old and one of my friends telling me that I could try to find her a retainer with a false tooth so she wouldn't be embarassed. Can you imagine? My little shining soul thought she looked beautiful with that gaping hole (which she still has to this day). If there were only a way to keep that perspective through life. I LOVED this blog - absolutely beautiful.

By the way, I'm waiting by the mailbox for MWOB trophy.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06801962129600420128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8955155520122173178.post-56746627795652880822008-11-10T13:44:00.000-08:002008-11-10T13:44:00.000-08:00Lee, in my opinion, you just killed it as a mommy....Lee, in my opinion, you just killed it as a mommy. This, my friend, is what being a mom is all about -recognizing the sincere, innocent beauty of life in a tiny momment -seeing that light that shines so brightly and uniquely in our children and then realizing that to them the sun rises and falls with you...no matter what kind of mommy day you think you're having. Accept it, you are the world's greatest mommy to the only people that matter.Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02711157908656642675noreply@blogger.com
